After months of searching, discussions and planning, we’re moving from Xuhui to the 100-year old Changyang Campus in Yangpu, Shanghai.
Before we share anything else, first and foremost, we’d like to thank 护航协同创新中心 (Hangzhou Collaborative Innovation Support Center) for allowing us to use their incubation space over the last 10 months. It was an amazing time and it gave us space to collect feedback and improve our product lines.
It was a great location too – we really enjoyed eating at the Michelin-recommended yellow fish noodles nearby (sorry, they’ve closed since!).
Our new office will be a split-level space with a workshop, meeting rooms, innovation center and open, pet-friendly office spaces. It will be the Shanghai lighthouse office for Foyooeco and our parent company, Sengong (next-gen PVA material film leader for the water-soluble detergent pod market).
Our new location has a 100-year history. Changyang Campus is a 100-year old site with rich history: it was originally home to the Chinese Textile Machinery Works (中国纺织机械厂), which was founded in 1920.
In the past, Changyang Campus was a massive manufacturing complex, producing machinery for China’s massive textile industry – a classic example of Shanghai’s industrial might. It transformed into an innovation hub in 2014
It’s an innovation hub where history and the future converge. This new location offers an inspiring work environment with lush green courtyards, curated cafes, and a collaborative energy. Symbolizing Shanghai’s shift from industrial legacy to cutting-edge creativity, this new location is the perfect backdrop our next steps forward.
